All materials are selected for their quality and the baby’s comfort, and are health and safety certified.It's ethical clothing, since everyone involved in its making worked and have been paid fairly.

Code of values
LUDD is a Swedish and Spanish firm which brings together Mediterranean and Scandinavian values.
Both LUDD garments and the company itself adhere to a strict code of values:
All materials are quality certified and chosen to protect the baby’s health and the environment.
No child labour is involved at any stage in the production of a LUDD garment, from raw materials procurement through to point of sale.
All collaborators involved in the production of a LUDD garment, and all suppliers of raw materials, have been paid a fair price for their services and have performed their work in suitable working conditions.
LUDD’s internal policy is one of respect for its workers’ rights, over and above what is required by current European legislation, particularly those who have or are about to have a child. LUDD also upholds the right to reconcile their professional life with their family and/or personal life.
Design, research, selection, quality
Intensive work is invested in each LUDD garment to ensure:
The design provides the baby with utmost comfort and freedom of movement.
Detailing promotes ease of wear. Selection of all components guarantees top quality and compliance with certified standards, from the fabric down to prints and buttons.
Both the garment and its packaging comply with sustainability and respect for the environment.
LUDD fabrics
100% Organic Cotton: Swedish fabric. Grown according to organic farming standards. Only natural fertilizers and pesticides have been used. The organic cotton respects the nature, the producer and the end user, as ensures that is free of any contact with substances that pose a potential health hazard. 100% organic cotton means that LUDD uses organic cotton only (different of organic/non-organic mix cotton).
100% Organic Cotton + elastane: High value-added fabric, produced in Germany. 100% ORGANIC COTTON (95%) - fair-trade, eco-friendly dyed or bleached. Elastane (5%) LUDD’s priority is the comfort of your child. By adding a small percentage of elastane, the garment acquires an elasticity which makes it adapt to the child’s movement. The presence of elastane also renders the garment easier to put on and take off. Brushed finishing, that makes the fabric soft and pleasant to the skin of your baby.
ECO-fleece, 100% recycled: Swedish fabric. Polar-fleece, 100% recycled polyester.
100% Organic Linen: Sweedish fabric. Grown according to organic farming standards.
ECO-wool: 100% organic Merino wool from France. Only traditional and environmentally respectful techniques were used in the rearing and shearing of purebred Merino sheep, and the preparation of raw material.
Eco-friendly dyed

The textile dyes used in LUDD garments comply with EU legislation on the restriction of chemical substances in dyes. LUDD guarantees their zero content of toxic components.

LUDD clothing workshop - LUDD selects only clothing workshops that can certify their employees work in conditions compliant with EU labour standards, are paid a fair wage and operate in a suitable working environment.It is a very important qualitative differential in terms of the quality of life of those who make the garments.
A thoroughly European garment
LUDD garments are designed and made in the European Union. All constituent items, from the fabric to prints, buttons, labels and packaging are furnished by certified European suppliers. Consolidating production and supplies wholly in Europe enables stringent control of the entire process and all materials, thus guaranteeing garment quality and ethics and the implementation of technological advances provided by European research and development in the textile industry.
Ethical clothing
Fair-trade + Fair-made = Fair-wear. Ethical clothing guarantees a fair trading partnership between producers and consumers. The producer works freely, with dignity, showing respect for labour rights. Producers and workers are paid fairly. Value is placed on quality and respect for the environment. Consumers are provided with transparent information on product features.
